Bruce Stone Elected 2015-2016 President of ACTEC
WASHINGTON, March 20, 2015 – The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), the leading trust and estate organization of peer-elected trust and estate lawyers, has elected Bruce Stone, of Coral Gables, Florida, as 2015-2016 President. The organization inaugurated the 2015-2016 officers and inducted 35 new Fellows during its recent annual meeting in Marco Island, Florida.
Stone is a member of the Joint Editorial Board for Uniform Trust and Estate Acts, which monitors and recommends updates to trust and estate related uniform laws on a nationwide basis. He is an Academician in the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, and a past chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami School of Law. He received his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Florida where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
