2025 Alaska ACTEC Symposium: The Intersection of Estate Planning and Marriage

Come learn about the intersection of estate planning and marriage! This symposium will be presented in three parts:
- Explore the estate planning issues and concerns for unmarried couples, including prenuptial agreements.
- Delve into marriage itself, including tax and non-tax issues such as the estate tax marital deduction, community property, and spousal inheritance rights in Alaska.
- Discuss estate planning issues with legal separation and divorce, including beneficiary designations, inheritance rights under Alaska law, planning options, and how divorce impacts wills, trusts, and disability planning.
Both ACTEC Fellows and non-Fellows are welcome and encouraged to attend this Symposium.
