This program provided insight into strategy and best practices for taking and defending the deposition of an expert witness. Using valuation of an LLC as the topic for our expert opinion, the panel will use a mock deposition to provide insight into the process. Beginning with preparing the witness and following through, to how to approach questioning on one side and how to astutely defend the witness on the other — the panelists will provide “voiceover” during the proceedings to explain the rationale behind their approach and strategies.
