Share a tip for new sponsors on what makes your experience as a sponsor at an ACTEC event successful.
As a Platinum Sponsor of the Annual Meeting for several years now–having been a sponsor for years before that, though not at that same level–what we at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank have found makes our experience particularly successful is taking full advantage of all the benefits a sponsorship provides. To maximize benefits at an ACTEC meeting, a sponsorship requires a commitment by the sponsor to be physically present as much as possible, spend the time at the meeting productively, and use the current meeting as a planning session for next year’s meeting. It also requires, at least mentally, a multi-year commitment: only in that way can brand awareness among the Fellows be developed. One final thought: We have found the ACTEC staff highly accommodating when we ask, based on experience, for enhancements to our sponsorship–so don’t be afraid to ask!
